Education Services



The Education Team is comprised of ten associates with varying backgrounds, experience and expertise. This team provides a wide range of services to schools and school districts. In all of our work, we seek to form a learning partnership that promotes reflection on research, exemplary practices, and various forms of data. The G&A Approach informs how we deliver most services, especially planning, restructuring, and evaluation services.


  • SAIT External Evaluators & Site and District Program Improvement Restructuring Services having conducted SAIT evaluations and restructuring services in over 20 sites in five school districts.

  • Content Coaching in K-8 Mathematics, including lesson modeling, video tape, site wide professional development, lesson study, and support to districts in developing math professional development programs.

  • Leadership Coaching & Strategies for Effective Organizations, focusing on building site leadership capacity, improving the efficiency & effectiveness of administrators, and developing a school-wide learning community that uses data, classroom observation and other strategies to improve the quality of instruction.

  • Classroom Management Support & School Climate Development, through coaching & workshops to implement positive discipline strategies in the classroom and through facilitated conversation build a school-wide shared commitment to creating an environment that builds morale and motivation.

  • Evaluation of Initiatives, Grants and Programs such as Comprehensive School Reform, Small Learning Communities, National Science Foundations, California Math Science Partnerships, 21st Century Community Learning Centers and others.

  • Grant Development Assistance can include technical support and advice, facilitation of planning, and/or preparation of narrative, budgets, and support materials. G&A has been providing grant development services since 1986 and enjoys better than a 90% success rate resulting in over $430 million in funding.

  • Summer Institutes offering a range of professional development that can be customized to a school or a school district.

  • Research, Develop & Operate Effective After School, Summer School and other Intervention Programs with a variety of approaches from highly structured reading interventions designed to build deeper comprehension to more flexible models designed to tap into student interests, build motivation, and provide challenging opportunities to apply their learning to problems relevant to students.
