Since 2000, G&A’s Community Research & Evaluation Team has shifted the focus of its work from grant development to conducting research, evaluation and strategic planning in relation to a broad range of public health, social service, and community development initiatives. In moving away from grant development, G&A has focused upon helping public and private agencies build their capacity to better utilize existing renewable resources rather than in pursuing grants that ebb and flow and do not provide a reliable source of support to program improvement efforts. Whether research, evaluation or planning, G&A projects always focus upon building client capacity to improve its delivery of services to consumers. Below are summaries of recent G&A projects.
