Gia Rauenhorst, M.Ed.

Research Analyst

Ms. Rauenhorst joined the Gibson & Associates team in February 2011 as a Research Analyst. She holds a Master of Education degree (MEd) from Marymount University in Arlington, VA, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.

Ms. Rauenhorst began her professional career at IBM as a budget analyst for a large government contract in Virginia. She taught in two states and multiple grade levels. She developed a three-layer, differentiated instruction in math based on student meta-cognition and monitoring, adopted by many staff and peers. Ms. Rauenhorst also served as a board member for a private foundation from 2004 - 2010 during which, as chair, she led the education committee in recommending grant awards to programs devoted to early childhood education.
